The Second Oldest: Paulina

Dad you are so great! We hope you always remember that.
There are so many wonderful memories. But alas here are a few:

Remember driving thru Yellowstone Park as we were youngsters
and you promises us an orange marshmallow peanut to the first
on the see an animal. Then I spotted to cub bears up a tree but
you couldn't see it as you were driving so I ,(quick like) turned
your head to the left so that you could see what I did so that
I could get the candy. And I don't know if you Really saw them
but I did get that candy. And beacuse I saw 2 bears, I received 2 candies

Also another special memory of mine is that both of us worked night
shift and got home at about 12:30. This is the home on Broadway in
Anaheim. You worked at Aero-Jet and I at Disneyland.
We'd both come home not really sleepy and we would stay up.
I'd fix us up an omelet. We would just eat and talk. It was a lot
about nothing but yet about so much. I loved those nights.
I probably even slept better.

You are such a gifted person, not only with your hands but with your
mind. You taught us all so much. Even taught us girls how to change
a carburetor, fan belt and change a flat tire. I can remember working
on the Corvairs for hours on end and thinking we would never NEED these
skills only to learn too soon
that We couldn't do without them.

You were and are still a super cribbage champ. Boy, do we love that game.
I even beat Vic every chance I get. We play with Adam and Kim at times also.
Your game skills go through the generations. Thank you.

I may not be the Very Bestest Son BUT
I am the VERY TALLEST daughter.
No one can take that away from me.
I am proud and happy that Dad along with mom
always said "Stand up straight, don't slouch"

The song "White Sports Coat" always came to mind
as I remember we were told to Change that station
whenever Beatles or anyone "great" was on.
It seemed like every single time we changed it to his station,
that White Sports Coat came on. I hated it!
Then one day I realized I knew every single word by heart.
Boy, was I surprised..

I love you and Thank you for so many wonderful things.
May God Bless you now and into your everafter.
