Prayer to the Guardian Angel

How Kind God is to give you a very special angel to guard
you from harm! Your own dear angel is ever beside you,
sharing your joys and sorrows. Tell him morning and night
and often during the day how much you love him.

Angel of God, my guardian dear,
To whom God's love commits me here,
Ever this day be at me side,
To light and guard, to rule
and guide. Amen

Patroness of Missions

Most loving Jesus Christ Redeemer, have mercy upon all mankind.
Grant the light of Thy Divine Truth to all sitting in the darkness
of error and disbelief, and to all human hearts extend Thy consuming Love.

O Eternal Priest, raise up in our day armies of fervent Missionaries; fill them
with a holy zeal for souls, and make fruitful their priestly lives and labors.

Make us all to be Thy ardent apostles; that by our prayers, sacrifices and alms,
the unbelieving millions of earth may soon be blessed as we are, with a holy
and firm Faith. Hasten, dear Savior, that happy day when Thy Kingdom shall truly come upon earth,
and all races will know, love and serve thee, their God and Redeemer
an everlasting Reward. Amen

Teach Me

Teach me, teach me, dearest Jesus,
In Thine own sweet loving way,
All the lessons of perfection
I must pratice day by day.

So as never to look backward,

Saint Maria Goretti

Heroic and angelic St. Maria Goretti, we kneel before you to honor your
persevering fortitude and to beg your gracious aid. Teach us a deep love
for the precepts of our Holy Church; help us to see in them the very voice
of our Father in heaven.

May we preserve without stain our white baptismal robe of innocence.
May we who have lost this innocence kneel humbly in Holy Penance,
and with the absolution of the Priest, may the torrent of Christ's
precious Blood flow into our souls and give us new courage to carry
the burning light of God's love through the dangerous highways of this
life untill Christ our King shall call us to the courts of heaven. Amen

Evening Prayer

Oh dear God, I thank Thee for all the blessings Thou hast given me today
I am very sorry I have displeased Thee by my sins. Please forgive me.
I shall try harder tomorrow. Bless me this night.

Bless my father and mother and all our family and keep them close to Thee.
Jesus, Mary and Joseph be near me especially at the hour of my death. Amen.

Good night, dear sweet Jesus. Good night, dear sweet Mother Mary.
Keep me from sin this night and forever.
