Sacred Heart of Jesus, today I wish to live in You,
in Your grace, in which I desire at all costs to persevere.

Keep me from sin and strengthen my will by helping me to
keep watch over my senses, my imagination,
and my heart.

Help me to correct my faults which are the source of sin.

I beg You to do this, O Jesus, through Mary, Yours and
our Immaculate Mother.
Amen

O Blood and Water which gushed forth
from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain
of mercy for us,
I trust in You

You expired Jesus, but the source of life
gushed forth for souls, and an ocean of mercy
opened up for the whole world.

O Fountian of Life, unfathomable Divine Mercy
envelop the whole world and empty
Yourself out upon us

I asked God for strength,
that I might achieve......

I was made weak,
that I might learn humbly to obey.

I asked for health,
that I might do greater things....

I was given infirmity,
that I might do better things.

I asked for riches,
that I might be happy.....

I was given poverty,
that I might be wise.

I asked for power,
that I might have the praise of men......

I was given weakness,
that I might feel the need of God.

I asked for all things,
that I might enjoy life.......

I was given Life,
that I might enjoy all things

I got nothing that I asked for,
but everything I had hoped for.

Almost despite myself,
my unspoken prayers were answered.

I am amoung all men,
most richly blessed!

Keep us, O God, from all pettiness.
Let us be large in thought, in word, in deed.

Let us be done with fault-finding
and leave off all self-seeking.

May we put away all pretense and meet
each other face to face,
without self pity and
without prejudice.

May we never be hasty in judgement
and alway be generous

Let us always take time for al things,
and make us to grow calm
serene and gentle.

Teach us to put into action our better
impulses, to be straightforward
and unafraid.

Grant that we may realize that it is
the little things of life that
create difference, that in the
big things of life, we are as one.

And, O Lord God, let us not forget to be Kind!
