Your light is love In the darkness, lord. It’s with me when I’m with You And with me when I stray. The light of Your love Fills me with joy And happiness divine. I know Your love is mine, dear Lord, Until the end of time. Where’er I go I feel Your love, Its locked deep within my heart. And I know, no matter where I am, We will never be apart ~Dona M. Maroney~ I never feel alone because I have a friend who’s near; He knows me like no other one, To me He’s ever dear. He tells me that I’m special, He gave His life for me, I pray that in this life I live I’ll always faithful be. This Friend I found in Jesus, I’d like to share with you, But you must open your hearts door. As I was led to do. When you ask Jesus to come in You will never be the same And you’ll never be alone When you call upon His name. I walked a path with downcast heart, My day was filled with dread, Needing strength beyond my own, Unto my Lord I plead. I told him of my heartache, The anguish I’d been through When a friend that I loved dearly Had proved to be untrue.
