Come to me, all who labor
and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest.
~ Matthew 11:28 ~

Come, Go With Me

Come, go with me.
The Master calls,
I’ll make you what I want you to be.

The world is sinful,
Their blind eyes don’t see,
The Master bought thee.

Great was the cost.
His life He gave on a cruel cross.
Come, go with me.

Seek the lost, I am asking you to carry
your cross and follow me
carry my message to all who will hear.

Open your heart’s door,
Don’t you hear Him knock?
He loves you like no other.

He will forgive
Just ask and see
The road is narrow and, oh, so straight

But I will lead you if you will follow.
Eternity is heaven with our loving Lord.
He will wipe all tears from our eyes

There will be no more death, nor pain.
No sorrow nor crying
No sun, no moon, no stars.
The Lord is our Light.

Glory, Hallelujah! Even so,
Come quickly, Lord Jesus
~ Irene Barton ~
I recently found this poem among several poems
my mother gave to me years ago for my web site.
Irene Barton is my Mothers sister,
may they both rest in our Lords loving peace.
